Hello everyone!! How was your Thanksgiving? I hope you all had a wonderful time with family, including a vast array of wonderful food, some fun and games, and of course... SHOPPING! 😊
According to bestblackfriday.com, it's estimated that 156 million people in the United States would shop during Thanksgiving weekend. Just to put that into perspective... Since there are around 326 million people in the United States, that's well over a third of the entire U.S. population. That, my friends, is a lot of foot traffic!
I am not ashamed to say I was one of those estimated 156 million US citizens. Haha. I ventured out to Wal-Mart on Thursday evening after our family festivities were over. It honestly wasn't that bad! But you know why? They had every single register open. Say what?! Yes. Wal-Mart had every single register open, with cashiers even at the self-checkouts (to prevent stealing)! And the holiday cheer seemed to spread through the company, because most of the associates I came into contact with were quite pleasant. What do you know?
Also, I was one of the insane folks that woke up before sunrise to go shopping. At this point, it's become a tradition, and I simply can't break it. At least that's my excuse... Sounds good enough to me!
It's estimated that there was a grand total of $5.57 billion spent just between Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday! Add the estimated $3.81 billion spent on Cyber Monday... that's almost $10 billion, friends. Gracious!!
But hey, it makes sense. There are some crazy good deals out there, including here at 'Nuggles! If you haven't gotten a chance to see what kind of deals we've got going, you definitely need to check it out. Things are going fast, and almost everything is on sale, including our new Ladies' & Girls' Crochet Tops! This is the perfect opportunity to get Christmas shopping out of the way, at least for all the ladies and girlies in your life!
Happy holidays to you all! Hang your lights, decorate your trees and mantles, bake all those lovely holidays treats, go shopping (as if we needed any excuse...haha), wrap your presents, and don't forget what the holiday season is really all about!
Ciao for now,
