Excitement All Around!

Excitement All Around!

Hello, 'Nuggles fans! Let me tell you, this girl has so EXCITING news!

This evening, I got a sneak peak of our new inventory while I was working out some details for a photo shoot. My, my ladies. You do not want to miss out on what will be coming out next week. You're going to adore our new patterns and colors, in some of your favorite styles! We've got some darling patterns in the Taylor, Allisa and Jane tops. Eeeekk!! You all will just love them, I know.

We've got a few others fun things coming out, as well. But I can't give it all away, now can I? Looks like you'll have to be keeping an eye on social media and our website!

I am super excited to announce that this Friday and Saturday, January 12th and 13th, 'Nuggles will be part of a pop-up boutique in Jennings, LA! So if any of you are within driving distance, please some by and see us!

In other random news, I have to throw in a personal update. This week begins my first week of my final semester of college! Now that is crazy, my friends. I will be a college graduate in less than four months. >>insert happy dance<<

Now, just to go along with the theme of learning new things, I think it's time for some more fashion fun facts!

  1. In the 1500s, fashion designers showed off their clothing by putting it on miniature dolls. There was no such thing as models until 1853.
  2. The first pair of Doc Martens were created from old tires. (That does not sound too comfortable!)
  3. Before 1850 clothes were hand stitched by those that wore them. Clothes were not made for fashion, but rather for commodity. (Graciousness. It's amazing to think how far we have come!)
  4. In the Victorian era women did not wear cosmetics, as it was considered to be for people of "questionable" character. (Now, there's something we could benefit getting back to.)

And last, but certainly not least (which has nothing to do with fashion...or does it?):

Did you know that the "like" button was originally called the "awesome" button?

Now THAT is awesome.

So how about it? You think you could give us a few "awesomes," maybe by sharing this blog post on social media, or liking some of our IG posts? 😊

Ciao for now! I can't wait to come back next week for some NEW INVENTORY! You won't want to miss it!
